the one about awakening
Pastor Clarence said that today was a burial. We bury our past deeds, actions, thoughts, words and life, and pledge to live a brand new life of allegiance to Christ. I died to self today and I'm living for Christ. If there's anything I can do more, I can love my Lord more.Today is the day of new beginnings. I am a new creature and with my baptism, I'm declaring that I'm property of Jesus Christ. Today is also the day where I got to collect the keys to my room and prepared it for moving in.
If only we empty ourselves of our desires, and let God fill us up with what He has planned. If we allow God to clean us up, remove the dust and the cobwebs, perhaps then we would be truly prepared to let Christ take over the room of our hearts.
On hind note, my room is extremely tiny! But thank God for that, because it'll be easier to maintain and will be much much cosier. Thank God for my room-mate Yan Sing who happens to be a believer as well. Thank You Lord that hall 14 is situated around trees, trees and more tress coz it'll be so much more conducive for studying. Thank You Lord that I'm able to give thanks in every situation.
My spirit is awakened!
